Cricket Tournament Fun Day
Yesterday me and my teammates went to Cricket Tournament. I went to the hall and got change into the sport uniform then we came out of the toilets and wait in the hall for the bus to come then we did a quick roll. We walked out to the bus then we found a seat me and Waiari sat next to each then we looked at the back of us was Hope.L, Syraiah Lee we looked at them playing slim yuck yuck then we arrived to the tournament we got off our seats.
We had to walk all the way to the field then we sat down on a flat mat after that (Mrs Sharma) our coach called who was bating in the game. When we were on the field we all wait then stone field came then we start the game. So our captains had to do rock paper scissors then ( Vaka) our captain said bating so we all had to sit out of the circle because we were waiting for our turn to bat. When it as my turn to bat I had to stand far from the wicket
When we were waiting we just talk to each other about our day also we just took a sit on Mrs Sharma chair then I had my turn to bat also when it was my turn to bat. I had to wait for the person who throw the ball then I swing the bat but it did not hit so me and the other person had to to run then I had to guard the wicket but not too close or we would lose and stone fields would have a point also it was fun when we finish the game we found out we lost to stone felids we were alright but we said that (Mrs Sharma) our cocah said that we were just scared this time we are go to try.
So we were playing against the same school but it was a different team we try and we were the fielders while the others were batters we had so much fun we were only aloud 8 people to help on the feliders then the other 3 have to stay out. We had so much fun. We had to roait when we were Feliders then it was my turn I try but they did not hit but I still had 3 turn then we roait in fact I was having a lot fun also by cheering on to my team.
We had to go o the bench because we were doing cricket also Mrs sharma ask you if you want to bat if not you could stay on the grass. So I just sat on the grass or I just had a conversation with everyone else also I just played around it was so much fun but even that I didn't play I just sat there cherring.
After that game we had finish our compeitons then we went to have a rest, so Mrs sharma let us do anything so we were having so much fun waiting for the other people to come then Kelly said to clean up the rubbish after that we went to go on the bus back to school it was so much fun. When we go there we had to go change into our uniform after we heard the bell ring so we all set of home.

FUN FRIDAY AFTER NOON
So, Friday after school Me, Grace , Joseph walked home. We had a little rest because we were going to the park in three hours. It hit 5:01 we got ready and we wait for Lydia . I walked to the park and Lydia came out of the car. "where is grace" Lydia yelled I replied "she at home". so went to get her from home I yelled at her to get of her netbook.
We walked back to the park and start playing a fun game of touch and rugby with the boys. We played and played until everyone was tried . My mum came to the park with my little baby sis Ana and starting talking to (Mele) Lydia mum.
Paula and his little brother decided to do something silly. they decided to climb up a big tall tree at the park. About two hours later Edith showed up. We played touch with the boys once again and just made musically and took a lot of photos.
We continued playing and slowly nearly some people were about to leave. Once all the boys were gone Edith Text her dad if she could bring her hoverboard and so he did. It was 7:30 and we were having so much fun playing on it .
After all the playing we walked home and some food it was so delicious and also it was the best day I ever had I could not wait until next week

WALT writing a summary about the bridge in pamunre
Before the bridge
There was a Ferry service and a man called Hemi pepene ran the business from 1845 to about 1850. He was adopted son to a missionary William fairburn .
The First bridge
In the 1850s the Tamaki river was considered to be one of the busiest waterways in New Zealand. 1849, Union Bridge” to link the two villages of Howick and Panmure. suspension bridge £1,000”.
The first panmure bridge was swing bridge. The people pay the money to the William Johnson the toll keeper across the bridge and he gives back the money to the government. The bridge were the longest piles/poles that had ever been used in the province. They used Totara trees to make the bridge. When they made the bridge it sometimes it took hours to open or close, Most cutters, scows and trading vessels were sailing ships that needed great skill to negotiate the small opening with difficult tidal rip s.
The Third bridge
1913 it was obvious that a new bridge would be required. There were Motor vehicles that were displacing horses and a wider bridge was desirable.14th August 1916, Finally he cut the ribbon and drove a heavy traction engine across the new bridge to prove the ability of the structure to take heavy loads.
The fourth bridge
However by 1930 serious faults in the new bridge were reported when a large crack across the full width of the bridge at the southern end was discovered. This bridge was demolished in 1959 after the present bridge was opened.A new bridge was built in 1959. This latter bridge is a three-lane reinforced high-level bridge, with the center lane used for westwards traffic flow in the morning and eastwards in the afternoon.
