Firstly We headed outside to go for P.E in the field and we were waiting for  Waiari and Summuree to bring  the softball equipment.  So We got into lines off year 5 and year 6. Then Syariah lee and Havea had to do rock;paper and scissor (which Havea Won the game ), so he decide to go for the bat, so the year 5 sat down on the bench waiting for their turn. When it came to my turn I hold the bat with two hands then I put my feet next to the tree then I hit the bat and ran like a wild animal to the other base. So when someone alsie hit the ball I ran but didn't make it, so I was out. We swop over with the year 6s so now they were the baters and we were in the field guarding it. So while we were trying to make the year 6 out but they were so good at hit.

Editing a story

Here is our edited story.
Things we learnt about were
We aren’t allowed to use then, and, also and because at the beginning of a sentence.
Speech marks go on the OUTSIDE of the full stop or other punctuation.
The end of a sentence can be marked by a full stop, an exclamation mark or a question mark. You don’t need to put an extra full stop after a question mark.
Remember to check ALL capital letters. Sometimes we need to put them in and sometimes we need to take them out.
On Monday 24th September 2018 Room 7 did a blindfold challenge. We wanted to have fun and make our morning a bit interesting by playing a game.

Firstly Miss Ashley told us the rules which was “no touching the tables or pieces of paper on the floor or you will lose points.“  However you are allowed to touch the chairs because you sometimes have to step over them to get to the end. Next we got into buddies. My buddy was Lucina.  We had to line up by the heater in our buddies.

First it was my turn to go so Lucina (my buddy)  put the blindfold on me (over my eyes) and helped me to stand up. The blindfold was tight it felt like a constrictor boa on my face. I felt so confused and disorientated because the blindfold was covering my eyes. Lucina told me to “go left, right, straight and step over.” I was feeling nervous and a little bit scared because “what if she was tricking me?“ and I was really doing something silly. I got to the end safely and took my blindfold off.

Next it was my buddies turn so I helped her put the blindfold on. I told her to walk straight first, then next turn left. She doesn’t know her lefts and rights so she went the wrong way.I said “no your other left” and it was a little bit funny. In the end we got to the blue fruit tray and we made it without losing any points!

I think I would like to do this activity again because it was cool to do something different and fun in class especially since it’s the end of the term and I think we are all feeling kind of tired.

CONCLUSION: (Choose one of these)
My favourite was..
I felt ..\

It was easy/hard because..
I would or wouldn’t do this again because...
Start Here:
INTRO:
On Friday ( 21st of September 2018). First in the morning around 9 or 10 am Room 7 did the roll. Room 7 then decide to do a blindfold challenge for some fun. We got into buddies and sat down on the mat.

Paragraph 1:
While we were sitting on the mat, Miss ashley came and told us the how to play the blindfold game. (rules 1. don't step on the paper and the table. 2. climb over the chair. 3. touch the purple egg tray. 4.

Paragraph 2:
While we're siting my buddy ( vina) was blindfolding, she put up her  finger and I had to try to figure out  how many fingers was she holding, I was cheating by looking at the ground, I was walking that I realize that vina wasn't saying anything so I took off  my blindfolded and was like, "OMG I was cheating " I told myself. I was shocked that I cheated that I need  to stop and let vina have a turn.

Paragraph 3: So now it was swop over, It was now vina's turn, I first blindfolded her then I put my fingers up so then she can figure out how many fingers I was holding. "Vina go straight" I yelled.
"Okay  Lily " respond Vina.
So we kept on going and she climb over the chair then she had to go straight again to climb over the chair then she touch the egg tray. So that means we came back with 10p when we were sitting on the mat.

Conclusion: I felt very dumb that I had cheated because I was really nervous now I think I don't want to do it again ! It was so boring but fun when I was the guide for my buddy.

Yoga reflection

On Monday (17th of september 2018) Room 7 did a special activity ( which was called Yoga challenge). We just wanted to have some fun doing the yoga challenge. We got into buddies and sat on the mat.

My buddy was Waiari, “when we saw the first poise we were like ” OMG this is so easy to do” I told Waiari “ Yeah your right Lily” Waiari respond  nicely
So we had to sit down and  clasp your hands and lead back. The next one, we need to stand up to make a heart  with our buddy, it was pretty easy then I thought.

The other one  got really challenging because we had to be really flexible, we have to put one of  leg up then hold hands, the other one got really challenging me and Waiari  started to kept on trying  every yoga, most of it was like shapes and pretty easy.

The other ones got more harder, Me and waiari kept on trying again and never giving up because it was a challenge, we like that even if we failed we got up and try so then we can never give up, one of the poise were pretty hard ( which was the last one ) because someone had do the bridge ( which was me ) Waiari had to do.

I felt really happy to do the activy because it was really fun,  how we can see if we are flexible or not.
