🧮 Fractions Word Problem Day 3🧮

Hola readers and welcome back to my blog !  Today I'll be doing a fraction word problem which is stage 7/8. Anyways here is problem. 

Four-sixths of the books on the shelf are picture books. The other 24 books on the shelf are non-fiction books. How many picture books are there?
So firstly I did was figure out 4/6 + n/6 = 1w which is 4/6 + 2/6 = 1w.
Next  I did was finding out what 1/6 = ? and then I figure out 2/6 = 24  so that means 1/6 = 12. 
Thirdly, what i did was 4/6 = 48 so there are 48 picture books.
This problem is about solving word fractions, it was very simple because the hints and clues just made it more easier to solve this equation and I hope you've learnt something  new from this equation tonight !

In 1918 there was a very unspeakable virus called Influenza  which caused a global pandemic. Everyone from worldwide, 50 million people died  from this global pandemic. Even in reavility isolated New Zealand, the deaths were very unspeakable. Not any events had many people killed in such a short timing. 

Deadly Speed

The flu in 1918 travelled very quickly which spread worldwide. It was made to be very worse because there was something else happening at the same time it was the First  World War. Soldiers had been brought together from all over the world, and they often lived in crowded, unsanitary conditions. Many of the soldiers  had  weak immune system from the compromised by the stress of the war.

I've learnt that Polynesians were the most successful navigators in the world because they used the sun,moon,ocean,birds and planets so that they could see the ocean as a series of pathway instead of an obstacle.The Polynesians started their voyage 7,000 years ago as they escaped their home Taiwan. ⛰️ Mountain Walk Reflection ⛰️

The sun is shining like a bright star. The trees were dancing swaying into a magical world.

Firstly, My family decided to go on a trip to Maungarei (Mt Wellington). Next we all went in the cars (which were splitted into 2 groups Me, Dad, Grace, Joseph & the other group Mum & Ana). Finally we arrived at our destination (Manguarei), my siblings and I were rushing to reach the Mountain first.

Our Mountain walk was so fun because it helped me become fit and healthy. My favorite thing about the mountain walk was taking rests also walking down and up the mountain. I'm very proud of myself because I'm trying to exercise during this lockdown and having fun with my family.
