Todays blog post is going to be reflecting about my 2week holidays in Lockdown. I'll be talking about my two favorite things I did in Lockdown one of them was casually going online and talking to my friends and going on a ride to the beach. It was a casual cold night its suppose to be spring almost summer but anyways what happened that night, I was just chilling on my chromebook and just going through my socails (Tiktok and Youtube etc). I felt very bored I decide to face time my friends on google meets and we'd all stay up trying to connect with each other online and I've stayed up online for hours non-sleep, usually I went to bed at 4am and woke up around 12 or 1pm. (Yep really late), It was the holidays so there was nothing intersting to do but eat all these ice blocks my dad brought for us (For he works at Tip Top), I really like eating ice blocks I usually ate heaps and I get hungry and eat lots of food. During the Holidays some days we went on Night rides since we we're in lockdown I always was bored and we had to go on walks to the Mountian for example (Very tiring and annoyed). Another thing I loved doing in the holidays was binge watching all my asian dramas (Although I still do it during my freetime), I loved watching many things and I watched Squid Game, My name, I'm Not a Robot also some shows such as On my Block, Teen Wolf, The Vampire Diares and stay up for hours watching really tiring but always worth doing because its fun! </p><p>On my block :</p><p><img alt="Jamalworried GIFs - Get the best GIF on GIPHY" class="n3VNCb" data-noaft="1" jsaction="load:XAeZkd;" jsname="HiaYvf" src="https://media3.giphy.com/media/3OBfdz6k84r8pM0oJ0/giphy.gif" style="height: 270px; margin: 0px; width: 480px;" /></p><p>Vincenzo :</p><p><img alt="K Drama GIFs - Get the best GIF on GIPHY" class="n3VNCb" data-noaft="1" jsaction="load:XAeZkd;" jsname="HiaYvf" src="https://media1.giphy.com/media/IJBcekr2RcHGYo4T1K/giphy.gif" style="height: 270px; margin: 0px; width: 480px;" /></p>Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3837119929953093335.post-82840246868624392582021-10-22T13:25:00.003+13:002021-10-22T13:27:46.135+13:00๐ณ๐บ Happy Niuean Language Week ๐ณ๐บ<p><span style="font-size: medium;"> Fakalofa lahi atu ki mua and welcome back to my blog! It has been a really long time blogging and today I am coming back with another blogpost and its about celebrating and embracing this culture (as I'm not Niuean though), I like embracing everyones culture and this week I've been learning with Room 8, So many legends and myths about the small island and we've also played kahoot (Its this learning game) about Niuean language week. The theme of Niuean Language Week of 2021 is Kia Tupuolaola e Moui he Tagata Niue means May the Tagata Niue thrive. What did I learn from the Niuean culture is that its very simlliar to some of the Pacific Islands and its really easy learning. What I enjoy learning about this culture is just using my knowledge of other cultures to understand the meaning of words and learning so much about their myths and legends was really fun! I really hope everyone has a safe lockdown and Happy Niuean Language Week, Here are a few things that will help you learn some Niuean for the culture! ๐๐</span></p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Greetings :</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghKKfyryOBI-ylgL4qXfikyAwwu0d_Aer19ZefDHeLOWWhGjTv429V1G9KYnKjL-RHWI06zcbBcpx3Uys7UOQD2RlqJi3PqNGBVmXTrrbbNTCDznGCDifp0cc5DZGaOHYWitwQBSxPHDqQ/" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="315" data-original-width="630" height="160" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghKKfyryOBI-ylgL4qXfikyAwwu0d_Aer19ZefDHeLOWWhGjTv429V1G9KYnKjL-RHWI06zcbBcpx3Uys7UOQD2RlqJi3PqNGBVmXTrrbbNTCDznGCDifp0cc5DZGaOHYWitwQBSxPHDqQ/" width="320" /></a></div><br /><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Day's of the Week In Niuean</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiJhb1ArXarFpZiKqkCewXKaYIyLDBfQi3YMIbT2T2v6UMBxGSZMZKomsUe_7IK5m0uyAqYADjNuoYcWS5GO8yf_sRStV3PuN-RDN_9Bl7NVkkUbnW8fHKG13jPLAqe5BIx7A8TEqZKbDn/" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="159" data-original-width="318" height="160" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhiJhb1ArXarFpZiKqkCewXKaYIyLDBfQi3YMIbT2T2v6UMBxGSZMZKomsUe_7IK5m0uyAqYADjNuoYcWS5GO8yf_sRStV3PuN-RDN_9Bl7NVkkUbnW8fHKG13jPLAqe5BIx7A8TEqZKbDn/" width="320" /></a></div><br /><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-size: medium;">----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</span></div><div><span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span style="font-size: medium;">Question of my blog : Do you like embracing other cultures? Well todays blog post is going to be about my refelction on Term 3. So far to start I only had a few weeks with my class and we we're going on our ballet trip and ochestra trip. During the Ballet trip, it was discovered Covid-19 Delta has finally came to NZ, and once again the whole country became to be in lockdown and then it became only Auckland stuck in lockdown, so many cases but I'm going to talk about my learning. The few things I've learnt in online learning in Ms Ashley & Mr J's Classes I mostly learnt about Maths all the normal learning subjects I mostly do in classes. What I really enjoyed was being in Ms Ashely's classes and learning about Myths and Legeneds and being able to conect with the other students on the online sessions and summarise what we've learnt for five mintues. I want to work on alot of things because in my oringial class with Mr Jasne I always tend to be confused with maths, I really like maths but it sometimes hard when learning so much about angles and how to solve them also something about circle. I also enjoyed getting lots of feedback from Mr Janse, because it helped me strive to achieve all my goals. </p><p><img alt="Learning GIFs | Tenor" class="n3VNCb" data-noaft="1" jsaction="load:XAeZkd;" jsname="HiaYvf" src="https://c.tenor.com/v9j8qwQ3tMoAAAAM/im-actually-learning-a-lot-interested.gif" style="height: 138px; margin: 27.15px 0px; width: 220px;" /></p><p>---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</p><p>Question of my blog : Do you like being in Lockdown and why? Today's Online session with Room 9, We learnt about Gennetics and we had to chose a subject in Genetics, I'm currently working on Genetic Science. Now you maybe wondering.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;">"What is Genetics Science"? Genetics is a study of genes and heredity- of how cenrtain qualities or traits are passed down from their parents to off spring as a result of changes in DNA. One of my reasons I've chose Genetics Science is because I like learning more about genes and I like taking a challenge and it seems like a challenge. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"> Let's learn aboout "Can DNA Demand a verdict"? In 1987, forsenic DNA analyis made its first appearneace in US court room. Oringianlly known as "DNA printing", this type of analyis is now called "DNA profiling" or "DNA testing" to distingush it from tradtional skin fingerprinting. Even though its use for crinimal cases, DNA profling has helped how to find the suspects in mostly violent crimes such as rape or murder. </span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;">What I found out is about the article I read about Genetics science is that DNA can be used for alot of things such as looking for the suspect esspecialy in a crime. "DNA testing", I really liked learning about this because it could help alot of people if they are studying more about things as law here are some example of photos that describes about the DNA :</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0Ql2z0_gIS1IS0x3K0MAHUdxmpyWamagJzOzNi6pkd1cxyO-iKKbgW-1E05KIuiyRCfQR1QbQWfsFeDzOBWnw7dByBRWQzwikYb5CSnl3nO_yZHZUyxZJ3WvQfLCq4VjyvLHboCdOuT7l/" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="508" data-original-width="976" height="167" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj0Ql2z0_gIS1IS0x3K0MAHUdxmpyWamagJzOzNi6pkd1cxyO-iKKbgW-1E05KIuiyRCfQR1QbQWfsFeDzOBWnw7dByBRWQzwikYb5CSnl3nO_yZHZUyxZJ3WvQfLCq4VjyvLHboCdOuT7l/" width="320" /></a></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxiAkW8T1m0Z-GwWnZOUQsIMKkS8OrAV_Kdjm6PYxo5oR7RldwJRy1fUJBsWoCvsHshKRzOsYEc0QbmSAET4f_CuAkam5xDY37PHWDzgkNrA-05757s6bdb35xm9cA-AvhDS-fk5gCz7M2/" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="1217" data-original-width="976" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxiAkW8T1m0Z-GwWnZOUQsIMKkS8OrAV_Kdjm6PYxo5oR7RldwJRy1fUJBsWoCvsHshKRzOsYEc0QbmSAET4f_CuAkam5xDY37PHWDzgkNrA-05757s6bdb35xm9cA-AvhDS-fk5gCz7M2/" width="192" /></a></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKVfjSuOlcFMOwvS5eF6dxAkUwq78HsVoMDP9unhbb_Qn9TiwtDW_GG30JzYzCvW0vpcr0Q8r8u5Sz_0hVh0DKrV7DZPO6N0PshLLZV88oSLIHntULK1aMDGlI6nXxhpXaO4cytowybyPb/" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="1058" data-original-width="704" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKVfjSuOlcFMOwvS5eF6dxAkUwq78HsVoMDP9unhbb_Qn9TiwtDW_GG30JzYzCvW0vpcr0Q8r8u5Sz_0hVh0DKrV7DZPO6N0PshLLZV88oSLIHntULK1aMDGlI6nXxhpXaO4cytowybyPb/" width="160" /></a></span></div><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"><br /><br /></span></div><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"><br /><br /></span></div><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"><br /><br /></span><p></p>Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3837119929953093335.post-13405042608033130402021-09-17T14:17:00.002+12:002021-09-17T14:17:27.984+12:00๐ณ๐ฟ Happy Maori Language Week ๐ณ๐ฟ<p> Kia ora readers and welcome back to my blog! In online learning session today we are learning about Biosecurity, What is biosecuirty you may be wondering? It's the topic we would be learning about that has to do with sicince. Biosecurity is a protection of an enviorment in New Zealand from Biogical threats. Why is biosecurity really important? The biosecurity system prevents or manages risks from harmful organsims, like pests and diease. The system of biosecurity helps protect New Zealand's ecconomy, enviroment, human health. It does this by stopping pests and diesases before they arrive. What I've learnt about Biosecurity is that it helps everyone in the country and that it is really helpful! Today I'll be doing a reflection about tuesday, this was before we knew lockdown happened, yet it was such a fun exprince of learning how to ballet and it was cool looking at others peform. </p><p>17th of August it was a beautiful day and every student from year 4-8 at Tamaki Primary School weโre going on a trip to Manukau Vodafone Centre to watch a Ballet performed by Royal Ballet New Zealand. </p><p><br /></p><p>The reason we're going on this trip is because our inquiry topic is about Arts & Performance. During the trip weโre in this big bendy bus with Tala Muka O Tonga (The tongan class), Te Puna Wairua (The Maori class) & Room 9 (My classroom). It was so loud in the bus everyone sounded like animals and I was sitting there in silence looking at the roads and seeing how cars work. </p><p><br /></p><p>I was beginning to get lost in my own imagination until we had finally arrived at the Manukau Vodafone Center, our class was the last to get off the bus. As I walked in I could just feel the breeze of the loudness, as soon we had arrived to our arranged seats Lily, Lino & I decided to become friends with these students from Papakura Normal school (Yet we still donโt know their names), we introduced ourselves to them and started asking them questions until it was time to watch the performance the host of the show was talking about what ballet show weโd be watching and it was the Swan Lake. </p><p><br /></p><p>The Swan lake was based on the story of a Princess that had turned into a swan but at night sheโd be human again and there was a Prince that found her beauty so naturally they danced and danced and the performance was ending with a good duet. I really enjoyed watching this performance because I learnt a lot about ballet after watching it. The host of the show said we could become performers too, so two students from other schools weโre taught some of the ballet moves from the duet. It was kinda cool to see other people perform. </p><p><br /></p><p>Later on, the ugly duckling show was coming on and Lino, Lily & I slept throughout the whole show as I could wake up and then fall back to sleep in my dream. I couldnโt understand the story behind the Te Reo Maori but it was cool. As soon as I could hear applause I knew the show had ended but there were a few things we had to do. There were some questions from schools they wanted to ask the dancers, some questions weโre kind of personal and others weโre just about their journey throughout ballet. </p><p><br /></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEOkTR4GIVomIJrQ7Af9ji1c1NDXvjgF5L4enPQeppGKq689L9S2-FDsOlXlcECVdcOGAIcXfB8silY3pjKfSQ-Gt7p7k1qDpGHLrpDa7q6FGR19UwCX7jBeWqsUMcindhN77WxX9f4Vs3/" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="147" data-original-width="342" height="138" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEOkTR4GIVomIJrQ7Af9ji1c1NDXvjgF5L4enPQeppGKq689L9S2-FDsOlXlcECVdcOGAIcXfB8silY3pjKfSQ-Gt7p7k1qDpGHLrpDa7q6FGR19UwCX7jBeWqsUMcindhN77WxX9f4Vs3/" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div>Overall, throughout the trip I really enjoyed the bonds I had with my friends and it was quite funny during the bus being around Lino & Mariah on our way back, as we got back to school I was walking so fast on my way to school rushing for I was so obsessed to get a bite of food & as I was going back home it was when I knew it was when the news popped up that Delta Covid-19 had returned to New Zealand and here we are in Covid-19 Lockdown, I was so frightened for we had just returned from a trip that we couldโve had covid with us spreading or who knows what! Iโm glad we have a lockdown and that it might get extended due to so many new cases. <p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2g15X_f-XmKY2TtCsH9bneVEkCtm37IFZ7CnrJRmmuXsrij0kx8_Hgxn1uEVOJA3whnvRLBJh93lGfFxVu7qp6UadIZZPF92FmvdV9XU8jDHQLWwrPbogNzOneG3d_I60UrBrbHhCE1s7/" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="183" data-original-width="275" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2g15X_f-XmKY2TtCsH9bneVEkCtm37IFZ7CnrJRmmuXsrij0kx8_Hgxn1uEVOJA3whnvRLBJh93lGfFxVu7qp6UadIZZPF92FmvdV9XU8jDHQLWwrPbogNzOneG3d_I60UrBrbHhCE1s7/" width="320" /></a></div><br /><br /><p></p><p>"Stay Safe & Save Lives" :)</p><p><br /><br /></p><div>------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</div><div>Question of my blog : Have you ever done ballet?</div><div>Thank you for reading :)</div>Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3837119929953093335.post-43500669942683041012021-08-14T22:32:00.002+12:002021-08-14T22:32:30.677+12:00๐ธ My Future Career Pathway ๐ธ<p> Kia orana readers and welcome back to my blog! Today I'll be doing a blogpost about my response text about the day of the dead, if you are wondering what does the day of the dead means it's about honoring all the loved ones that has passed away, it is a tradtional thing in Mexico, it is celebrated on October 31st, November 1st & 2nd! During the day of the dead the families of the loved ones who have died always often visit them and clean and decorate their grave. Dia De Los Muetros. The decorations they like to use on Dia De los Muetros (Day of the dead) are Sugar skull Masks, Decorating lanterns, DIY Marigolds, Painted sugar rocks & Custom Skull mugs. A fact about Dia de Los Muetros is that its a mexicain version of Halloween and it's a celebration about the living and the dead. The celebration is celebrated all over Latin America with colourful calaveras (skulls) and calacas (skeletons). The skulls and skeletons on the day of the dead are repsented of a playful symbol life after death, many times repsenting those who have died engaging their favorite activites. </p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjySL3YES1k7LXOG5NUNg4_ZvcpTN03_FdGAT8hYMWNM_5p34C_o6lJwpEx8eHHy80NzCme2wdjLm3QAlXUn4mbUpU7a_AoDQxIet1NdJ-I-c04c7lN4PoZ3OeX6GCQcF6xT8r_ODHVFJt/" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="273" data-original-width="184" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgjySL3YES1k7LXOG5NUNg4_ZvcpTN03_FdGAT8hYMWNM_5p34C_o6lJwpEx8eHHy80NzCme2wdjLm3QAlXUn4mbUpU7a_AoDQxIet1NdJ-I-c04c7lN4PoZ3OeX6GCQcF6xT8r_ODHVFJt/" width="162" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I really liked learning about Dia de Los Muetros because it's a day to honour those who have died, It's really cool to learn about other cultures signficant about the day of the dead! Today in room 9 we've had done a little recap on knowing the reasoning in Geometrey, what I've learnt was that a straight angle = 180 degrees. The equation I was given was quite diffcult to use because it had letters because we've used algerba (which I can't really explain). Here is my example :</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijJnnAA9o5GGmX5URq9CilbmZNl5DznIqboUSGwHNlyU198DTtb34xTtS5EhcpoSHFIbxQ3sZbykMFkD5OZmWIwioqfCHN4DkeETYeG2UjOcpXLDCK36SmDBIG0E4kvGGKIWCNiAXPdWK7/s960/Lily%2527s+-+IALA+_+Reasoning+in+Geometry+%25282%2529.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="720" data-original-width="960" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEijJnnAA9o5GGmX5URq9CilbmZNl5DznIqboUSGwHNlyU198DTtb34xTtS5EhcpoSHFIbxQ3sZbykMFkD5OZmWIwioqfCHN4DkeETYeG2UjOcpXLDCK36SmDBIG0E4kvGGKIWCNiAXPdWK7/s320/Lily%2527s+-+IALA+_+Reasoning+in+Geometry+%25282%2529.png" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I really liked learning about this because it made me become more confident with myself, I found this really challenging and I always liked having challenges and I'm not really good with Maths and it was a good recap to learn more about it! Today I'll be reflecting on about our evasive game, I felt so excited and I was happy going outside to play a game. The game was called Dodge ball with a twist the rules we're kind of like netball and yeah. First of all we got into two teams and we started having three rounds of playing dogde ball with the twist. The skills was to learn how to coumicate to each other and learning to trust each other along the way, one of them was also I needed to catch the ball to help my teamates surround around other people in a conrener to tag them! I enjoyed learning more about my teamates and trusting them more and buliding postivie realtionships with others in my class room! It was so cold but we still had so much fun running around and getting togther! After Morning tea, Room 9 went to the ballet workshop. We learnt how to do a plate and leap and lots of excersing skills, it was great fun :). What I loved about the ballet lesson was that I really liked the leap skill and palate (bend), ballet is from france and I really love the dancing skills that Loren (our teacher) taught us! Today I'll be explaining this week's learning so far, I've liked this week because I got to learn exciting things and I was so happy to come to school. So far it's quite boring and I get tired of having work! But at the end of the day it's quite fun, my favorite thing about this week was today's assembly was all about celebrating Cook Island language week, it was so exciting to see lots of students learning and embracing other people's culture. I liked the Juniors syndicate's dancing it was very entertaining and exciting because it made me happy seeing other people learning Cook Island stuff. Everything I've learnt this week was facisinating it made me realised that school can be boring with loads of work but its fun coming to playing touch with friends. I can't wait for more things to happen in Term 3 esspecailly since there's still more sports and fun activites and learning to bulid more friendships with others in the class!</span></p><p><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"></span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXbQ0kXPKytMI43H0Cxp_wYHBKj2mqMqP8fUu-HEfImHYsM_8FRVdcH3BHQ9Qx6LwqpFlUNzqYFKdzKcdnSYkkrlqby1JwfwU7MMgPcayNeq7N7feSwNl0ifPRuuaAsb3kmeKmrq5CXFcB/" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="198" data-original-width="255" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjXbQ0kXPKytMI43H0Cxp_wYHBKj2mqMqP8fUu-HEfImHYsM_8FRVdcH3BHQ9Qx6LwqpFlUNzqYFKdzKcdnSYkkrlqby1JwfwU7MMgPcayNeq7N7feSwNl0ifPRuuaAsb3kmeKmrq5CXFcB/" width="309" /></a></span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;">Question of my blog : What do you like about the start of Term 3? </span></div><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"><br /></span></div><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;"><br /><br /><br /></span><p></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><br /><p></p>Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3837119929953093335.post-5270169940315686112021-08-06T12:27:00.001+12:002021-08-06T12:27:09.486+12:00 My creative drawing in our Cybersmart Learning <p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhX_xjCAbxfErebjJcM5PqkuyNMWhHFna0PIPzu1aUjI5-Vph7t4fbsdNdptNMLHiNsxUaO0Xrh4dq2T9GgkjXvBE3i_S1Rdz3BSUEpNnMMzgVwbEnFDUSZTUDzqaRR6pHmWz_AoJyKxJfs/s960/Lily%2527s+Fish+drawing+.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="720" data-original-width="960" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhX_xjCAbxfErebjJcM5PqkuyNMWhHFna0PIPzu1aUjI5-Vph7t4fbsdNdptNMLHiNsxUaO0Xrh4dq2T9GgkjXvBE3i_S1Rdz3BSUEpNnMMzgVwbEnFDUSZTUDzqaRR6pHmWz_AoJyKxJfs/s320/Lily%2527s+Fish+drawing+.png" width="320" /></a></div><br /> Kia orana readers and welcome back to my blog! U <p> <span style="font-family: arial; font-size: medium;">Talofa lava readers and welcome back to my blog! Today in room 9 we've learnt about Order of Operation. Have you ever heard about BEDMAS? Well I'll be explaining to you about what it is about! Order of Operation is about BEDMAS = Brackets, Exponets, Division, Mutilpication, Addition, Subtraction numbers this is a fourm that we use for maths that easier for us. For example I'll be compeleting this equation : </span><span style="font-family: arial;"><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">5 x (6 โ 3</span><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="font-size: 0.6em; vertical-align: super;">2</span></span><span style="font-size: 14pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;">) x 2 </span></span><span style="font-family: arial; font-size: 14pt; white-space: pre-wrap;">= (6 - 9 = -3) 5 x -3 = -15 x 2 = -30. I really liked learning about this type of maths because it gives me more things that I'm very capable! </span></p><p><img alt="Machine generated alternative text:

Today Lily M & I have compeleted this poerty task that was about 5 ways to kill a man by Edrick Brock, I've learnt alot and in the first santaza it teaches sus about how Jesus had crufuiced for our sins it was really fun learning and I really enjoyed it, here is our compeleted task with the poem you can read some of our questions and answers. </p><p>Five Ways to Kill a Man</p><p><br /></p><p>There are many cumbersome ways to kill a man:</p><p>you can make him carry a plank of wood</p><p>to the top of a hill and nail him to it. To do this</p><p>properly you require a crowd of people</p><p>wearing sandals, a cock that crows, a cloak</p><p>to dissect, a sponge, some vinegar and one</p><p>man to hammer the nails home.</p><p><br /></p><p>Or you can take a length of steel</p><p>shaped and chased in a traditional way,</p><p>and attempt to pierce the metal cage he wears.</p><p>But for this you need white horses,</p><p>English trees, men with bows and arrows,</p><p>at least two flags, a prince and a </p><p>castle to hold your banquet in.</p><p><br /></p><p>Dispensing with nobility, you may, if the wind </p><p>allows, blow gas at him. But then you need</p><p>a mile of mud sliced through with ditches,</p><p>not to mention black boots, bomb craters,</p><p>more mud, a plague of rats, a dozen songs</p><p>and some round hats made of steel.</p><p><br /></p><p>In an age of aeroplanes, you may fly </p><p>miles above your victim and dispose of him by </p><p>pressing one small switch. All you then</p><p>require is an ocean to separate you, two </p><p>systems of government, a nationโs scientists, </p><p>several factories, a psychopath and</p><p>land that no one needs for several years.</p><p><br /></p><p>There are, as I began, cumbersome ways </p><p>to kill a man. Simpler, direct, and much more neat</p><p>is to see that he is living somewhere in the middle </p><p>of the twentieth century, and leave him there.</p><p><br /></p><p>(Edwin Brock)</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>What is the event referenced in the first stanza? The first stanza is talking about the crucification of Jesus Christ. The method the soldiers used to totrue him and kill him was used as the word cumbersome. A whole crowd watched him being forced to carry a cross all the way to the hill where he was nailed to the cross and died.</p><p>What does the word cumbersome mean? In the poem it was used as something big and strong that was supposed to totrue and kill Jesus </p><p>What historical event is referred to in the second stanza? King Authurโs Journey </p><p>What item is โthe metal cage he wearsโ? Metal amour </p><p>What does the word banquet mean? A formal meal for people to eat as such as a party </p><p>What world event does the third stanza talk about? World war 1 </p><p>What does the phrase โdispensing with nobilityโ mean? The quality of being a noble character. </p><p>What world changing event is mentioned in the fourth stanza? Atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagaasaki during WW2. </p><p>What does the last stanza mean? Describing troublesome ways in which to kill men. But the simpler and cleaner way would be to let them live in the 1950s, because mankind can destroy themselves.</p><p>What ways to kill a man might the poet mean as being โsimple, direct and much more neatโ? Poverty, Inflation, Hunger, Unemployment and malnutrition. </p>Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3837119929953093335.post-57930503623254957802021-06-25T09:39:00.004+12:002021-06-25T09:39:50.244+12:00Histiorical Landmark of Auckland Habour Bridge <p> AUCKLAND HARBOUR BRIDGE</p><p>Lino & Maria - </p><p><br /></p><p>The Auckland harbor bridge was built in 1954 and was opened on the 30th of May. Auckland harbour bridge is located near the Northern way Motorway. The Bridge is operated by the NZ transport agency. It is the second-longest road bridge in New Zealand and the longest in the North Island. Ever since the Auckland Harbour Bridge has been built there are such things as traffic management happening for there was the bridge just in the motorway. In 2006, they decided to build lanes for cars with a limit of having only about 180,000 cars to drive in each lane. In March 2009 they decided to make a barrier machine since everything became more cars driving the harbour bridge. </p><p><span id="docs-internal-guid-210cc521-7fff-89c4-77ec-1725379f2748"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="border: none; display: inline-block; height: 273px; overflow: hidden; width: 602px;"><img height="273" src="https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/yOoX8Y-UlUmX5YyN45jqzjNSPUlkTonLx2FLG37Aokg6rIo5D6z5GRSNRe9wUWnd9WljoxfTW53SdomlafZJAT_2csaHrK7HsvPGKxXI0faWJvRy60E92g27RGxuqQWpEL0Jivid" style="margin-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px;" width="602" /></span></span></span></p><p><br /></p><p>Maria - </p><p>In May 1958 there was a 63-year-old man who came up with a plan to do a Bungy jump off the Harbour Bridge, and his name was A.J. ( Alan John Hackett ). The first jumps were made using a parachute harness, but Alan Hackett created an idea where the harness had to be tied around the ankle. They demonstrated it by actually jumping off the Harbour Bridge. Hackett traveled to Paris on behalf of New Zealand in 1986 and made the world's first public Bungy jump. He became famous after bungee jumping off the Eiffel tower, due to a brief jail sentence for an illegal feat.</p><p><span id="docs-internal-guid-153d3c0e-7fff-b409-d353-bb00fd9121d6"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 14pt; font-variant-east-asian: normal; font-variant-numeric: normal; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="border: none; display: inline-block; height: 183px; overflow: hidden; width: 275px;"><img height="183" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/1e_1M7OTCwIgRjQd888Wi5ZZX4WtQeWoNXSiOl8vUFKsCw-DCO7Yr-4-HlBsiuGWKfedwmvv2fMEQmMuIQgs_zpmIsZUr6KkLHO5ajB6i3isI1Mj-gmvryuJZMHtjFYF4keaUrus" style="margin-left: 0px; margin-top: 0px;" width="275" /></span></span></span></p>Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3837119929953093335.post-77726387602870268312021-06-25T09:14:00.004+12:002021-06-25T09:14:50.188+12:00๐ Matariki Task ๐<p> Kia ora readers and welcome back to my blog!
