ANZAC day is a National day in New Zealand and Australia because it celebrating a remembrance day of how the soldiers died in all the wars. Anzac day is actually celebrated on the 25th of April, it is when we visit soldiers from the wars memorials and have a dawn service about standing together as one for those who lost their lives in that war. Traditionally Kiwis & Aussies wear poppies to remember those on the battlefield in Gallipoli.
